チェーンメイルジュエリーとは
チェーンメイルジュエリー（チェインメイルジュエリー）（chain mail Jewelry)とは、丸カン（海外ではジャンプリング Jump Ringと表記されます）を組み合わせて、モチーフやチェーン等を製作する技術です。
もともとは、防具である鎧を作るための技術でしたが、現在はこの技法を用いてアクセサリーが制作されています。
海外ではチェインメイル（Chain mail chain maille）と呼ばれています。
日本ではくさりかたびら（鎖帷子）と呼ばれています。

洋書なので、全編英語ですが、制作過程が画像で載ってるので、チェーンメイルとワイヤーワークの基本的な知識があれば参考になるかなっという感じです。
ワイヤーでフレームを作って、チェーンメイルでつなぐという感じのものが多いですが、繋ぐ部分のパーツから何から、全部自作できるっていうのはいいですね〜。
写真眺めてるだけで作りたくなる〜。
しかし、いま忙しくってなかなか制作の時間がとれない・・・。
